• So Phresh Solid Green Earth-Conscious

These are great if you like picking up dog poop with your bare hands! We love the eco-friendly approach but it’s not the vibe if they are so thin I may as well be picking it up with my hands and washing them after anyway. And the smell permeates the bag. So, we definitely do not recommend these. Maybe for other uses! Not for poop.

• Earth Rated

So Phresh stumbled so Earth Rated could run 🙌 Available in lavender or unscented, they make extra long and extra strong bags. And they are B Corp Certified. (I had to look that up too so i’ll summarize – B Corp certification is a designation given to for-profit corporations that have been verified by B Lab, a global nonprofit organization, for their social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.) So Earth rated gets our approval for being earth-friendly and great quality!

• Dollar Tree Poop Bags

Dollar Tree poop bags – or technically Greenbrier Kennel Club Colorful Dog Waste Bags – if you want to add some flair to it, are honestly a solid option, especially for the price. I would compare them to SoPresh Eco bags as far as thickness goes unfortunately but if you are on a budget, want to buy a few to stash around in case you run out or for whatever reason! These aren’t the worst… our rating goes down because they are a little thin but goes up because they are so low in price.

• Back to redeem itself, SoPhresh! (Not Earth-Conscious)

A classic and reliable choice, these bags also come in a variety of cute prints. Thicker and much more durable than their eco-friendly counterparts, they are a great option to consider. However, they do come at a slightly higher price point, so that is something to keep in mind.

BONUS RECOMMENDATION: A Pooper Scooper

These are fantastic! No matter which bag you choose, they ensure you never have to scoop the poop directly. Plus, they come with a waste bag holder, adding to the convenience. To use, simply expand the container, place a waste bag over the scooper, open up the scooper to scoop the poop, and tie the bag as usual. Then dispose of the bag at your earliest convenience.

This is one of those little luxuries that make life just a little bit better.
